The Federation Government have just announced the new HomeBuilder grant, which provides eligible owner-occupiers (including first and second home buyers) with a grant of $25,000 to build a new home. HomeBuilder is a time-limited grant program to people get into a new home.
If you are buying your first home, you may be eligible for the South Australian First Home Owner Grant of up to $15,000, administered by RevenueSA.
Plus there is the Federation Government's First Home Loan Deposit Scheme which provides up to $10,000 towards a new home for eligible applicants.
That means an eligible First Home buyer could access up to $50k* worthof grants, while anyone not eligible for the first home buyer grant, and who is not an investor, could be eligible for up to $25k worth of grants.

What is the HomeBuilder Grant?
The Federal Government has revealed its brand new HomeBuilder scheme providing $25,000 to eligible new home builders. This scheme will give Australian home builders access to a $25,000 grant to go towards the cost of building a new home up to the value of $750,000.
What does HomeBuilder Grant mean for you?
Now is the time to start your dream of home ownership. With the combination of the new grant, current state and federal grants and current interest rates there has never been a better time to build. The grant comes into effect immediately and is available to couples with a combined income of less than $200,000 per year and individuals earning less than $125,000 per year.

The HomeBuilder is available for a limited time, so if you’ve been considering purchasing a new home, now is the perfect time to start that process. HomeBuilder requires contracts to be signed between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020.
